Copyright and takedown requests
GirlFilter respects the rights of creators and photographers. If you believe content made or hosted with our service infringes your copyright, tell us and we will look into it promptly.
What our service stores
We do not run a public gallery. Uploaded photos are deleted as soon as an image is done, and results are stored privately in the account that made them for up to 30 days. Most copyright concerns therefore involve a result that someone has downloaded and posted elsewhere. In that case, the site where it was posted is usually the right place to send a takedown, and we can still act on the account that made it.
How to send a notice
Email support@girlfilter.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- A description of the copyrighted work you own, or a link to it.
- Where the infringing content is: a link, or enough detail for us to find it.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Notices missing these details may take longer to process.
What happens next
We review each notice, normally within 2 business days. If it is valid, we remove or disable the content and tell the account holder. We may share your notice, without your personal contact details where possible, with the person who made the content.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or that you had the right to use the material, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. Include your contact details, what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your area, and your signature. We will forward it to the person who sent the original notice.
Repeat infringers
We suspend accounts that are the subject of repeated valid notices.
