Getting started
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign in with Google before your first image. We use your Google account only to keep your credits and results together. We never post anything.
How do I make my first image?
Open any filter, upload one clear photo of a face, tick the box to confirm it is your photo or that you have permission, choose a style and press Generate. The result is ready in about 20 seconds.
Which photos can I upload?
JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC files with exactly one face. Safari opens HEIC files; in Chrome, convert them to JPG first. Large photos are shrunk in your browser before they are sent.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The site works in mobile browsers, and you can take a photo with your camera right on the page.
Credits and payments
How many free images do I get?
You get 2 credits the first time you sign in with Google. One credit makes one image.
What do credit packs cost?
Starter is $4.99 for 30 credits, Pro is $9.99 for 80 credits and Max is $19.99 for 200 credits. These are one-time purchases. Credits never expire and can be used on any filter. See pricing.
Why is there a watermark on my image?
Accounts that have never bought a pack get a small girlfilter.com mark in the corner of each result, and before-and-after downloads also get a thin strip with girlfilter.com along the bottom. After any purchase, new images and their before-and-after downloads have no marks. Older images keep theirs.
Is there a daily limit?
Free accounts can make 2 images per day. If many free images come from the same browser or network, the tool may say it is busy. Paid accounts have no daily limit beyond their credits.
What if a generation fails?
If an image fails, times out or is refused by the AI model, the credit goes back to your balance automatically. Photos that fail our safety check do not use a credit.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase if you have not used any credit from that pack. Read the refund policy for the steps.
Who handles payment?
Creem, our merchant of record. Creem processes the card, handles sales tax and sends your receipt. We never see your card number.
Results and downloads
Where are my images?
Every image you make is saved in your account for 30 days. You can download or delete each one from there.
Can I download the before and after together?
Yes. Under your result, Download saves just the new image (1024 × 1024 JPG). Download before & after gives you two layouts, both made in your browser:
- Side by side: original and result next to each other, 2048 × 1024.
- Stacked: original on top, result below, 1024 × 2048. Stacked works well for TikTok and Reels.
Both layouts keep the full photos, uncropped, with a small Before and After label on each. On free accounts they also have a thin girlfilter.com strip along the bottom, so they come out slightly taller.
Can I use my images commercially?
Your results are yours to use for personal purposes. Do not use them to deceive people, to impersonate someone or for anything our terms prohibit.
Privacy and safety
What happens to the photo I upload?
It is used only to make your image and is deleted as soon as the job ends. It is never saved in our database and never used to train AI. Details are in the privacy policy.
Can I upload a photo of someone else?
Only if they are an adult and have agreed. Photos of children are blocked, and sexual photos are refused. Our safety policy explains the rules.
How do I delete my account?
Open your account and press Delete my account and data. Your results are removed with it.
How do I report misuse?
Email support@girlfilter.com with a link or description of the content. Do not send the image itself unless we ask. For copyright claims see our copyright page.
Fixing a bad result
Why doesn't the result look like me?
The most common causes are low light, a turned head, sunglasses, hair over the face or a beauty filter on the original. Try a clear, front-facing photo in daylight.
Why was my photo refused?
The tool needs exactly one clear face. Our safety check also refuses photos that look like a minor, that contain nudity, or that are not a real photo of a person.
The page says it is busy. What should I do?
Wait a few minutes and try again. Free use has daily limits, and the site also pauses free images when the daily budget is reached.
